This is a rather long review to express our appreciation of Haring Realty’s Norval Blackwell. In 2009, I was forced to leave Ohio due to the elimination of my job, and move to Texas, leaving my wife in Ohio to tie up loose ends and get the house ready to sell or as a last resort rent. Because of the poor real estate market in 2009 and 2010 we were forced to look for someone to rent the home and were fortunate to find someone interested in renting our home on nearly four acres. Things went well up until this past January, when our renters of our home in Ohio informed us that they were moving out at the end of February, and leaving our home in less than a desirable condition. This wouldn’t have been too big if we had lived nearby. So, while in Texas I started googling realtors and came across Norval Blackwell’s picture on Haring Realtors website and figured I would give him a call and see what he could do for me. He asked for some preliminary photos and information and agreed to meet with me at the house after the renters moved out on March 4th. There was a lot of work that had to done, and the 4 days that I was there I could only get a little of what needed to be done completed. During those days Norval arranged for a remodeling contractor and electrician to meet with me and help decide what needed to be done to make it ready for sale. The guys he got to do the work did a great job at a reasonable price. So, after going back to Texas, Norval took care of everything from letting contractors, carpet installers, electricians, and a clean-up crew in, as well prepping it for show. A complete transformation of the house was completed in less than a month and was on the market Easter weekend and by that Monday had two offers, one of which was for asking price. To sum it up, one trip to Ohio at the beginning of March, Norval handling all the repairs and paperwork, and the deal was closed by April 25th. Could not have asked for, nor did I expect that Norval would have done so much to lessen the burden of selling a home. I only wish that when we decide to sell our home in Texas I could find a realtor here that would go above and beyond as much as Norval. Thank you!

Norval was great throughout our whole buying experience! He knew what we were looking for & helped. I had been looking in the Galion area, for well over a year, with no luck. My sister introduced me to Norval, & he got to work for me & with me right away. He is very knowledgeable & within a couple of months we found the place that my husband & I call “home”. Norval helped us navigate through all the necessary paperwork & made the whole buying process go smoothly. He is a good guy, & a great realtor!!

Norval did an amazing job guiding us through both the selling and buying process of our past and current home. I had to find a house in a hurry, Norval was there to help me, he lined up houses in my price range, in the Galion, Crestline and Mansfield area, he was knowledgeable of houses like whether the foundation was bad or good, he worked well with my bank and knew if something in the house was wrong for my loan or not, he is highly reliable and knowledgeable, can't go wrong with Norval......Thank You!

My first experience with selling a property was wonderful once I found Norval Blackwell. The fact that once we met with him the process took less than 45 days from start to finish. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience we had with Mr. Blackwell. Would suggest anyone looking to buy or sell please contact this man !

We were relocating from Columbus to Mansfield, and had some constraints on when we could be in the area to view homes. Norval was always accommodating, met us at two or three homes each time we came to look at homes. We relied on his expertise in the local market, and provided valuable advice on the process. He also had an appreciation of the likely cost of upgrades. We highly recommend Norval to anyone to buy or sell a home in the Mansfield area.

We had to purchase a home quickly due to relocating. Norval made our home search a priority and went out of his way to help with inspections, relocation and moving. Even after our closing he still helps us with contacts if we need anything for our new home. We will definitely use him again in the future.

I purchased my very first home this year with Norval’s help. He was great to work with. He gives so much of his time, always willing to answer questions and help with whatever needed. When our mother died we asked Norval to help us sell her home and some properties that had belonged to her and our father. Norval was able to find is a buyer quickly, and when that sale fell through, he found us another buyer just as quickly at our asking price. He was also able to find a buyer for the properties that were basically unusable for building. I can't say enough about how easy and painless he made the entire process for us.
